Peel Estate Winery

Peel Estate is one of Western Australia's most prestigious premium wineries and the first in the now growing Peel Wine Region.

Established in 1973 by Will Nairn who continues to delight wine connoisseurs with his remarkable range of red and white wines produced on coastal limestone country at Baldivis which is about 70km South of Perth, Western Australia.

The Big Belly Bus and Peel Estate Winery wine package includes the Sauvignion Blanc and Premium Red wines.

Premium Red

Good deep reds, scarlet hues, deep to the edges.

Nice “brambly” and berry scents, some plums from the merlot and some leafy cabernet franc notes. At this price level, this is a serious, quality bouquet.

This is a very attractive everyday drinking wine with its ready appeal coming from the assertive, fresh fruit.

Sauvignion Blanc Chenin Blanc

This is a wine for summer’s food. The palate is dry and crisp, very much in the modern “classic dry white” style. There is plenty of distinctive sauvignon blanc cut-grass herbaceousness which is deliciously backed up by seductive chenin blanc fruit.

Clever winemaking means these characters don’t fight it out; the early herbal characters float away on a raft of ripe fruit. A cracker of a wine for all seafood from oysters to salmon.
